Introducing Zu3D

Through the knowledge of a professional animator, Zu3D is an animation program made specifically for schools. The software is visually engaging for all ages and enables children to work on their very own stop- motion animation.

 “Through the arts, children will also develop original ideas, explore issues and solve problems. Children will take part in different activities – from singing and composing their own music to photography and animation.” (Department of Education, accessed 2015)

Through Zu3D children create a story by forming characters out of materials and then add voices, music, sound effects, and sound tracks to appropriately enhance the film.  Zu3D is a powerful informal learning tool that requires a lot of attention and skills from pupils which encourages them to work hard together or individually and build new fresh ideas to achieve one desired animated outcome.
